When I found out these two were expecting, I think I literally screamed. I was SO happy!
My little brother was finally going to be a daddy and his beautiful wife was going to be such a beautiful expecting momma! I knew I had to find my way down to Ohio and capture these two somehow!
Luckily Emily’s baby shower back in November provided the perfect chance to sneak these two out for some pictures before they welcomed their little bundle into the world.
The trip was an…adventure as one may put it. Me, my mother and two sisters all went down together (plus my littlest who was 9 months old at the time). Squeezing into a van with all the presents, people, pillows and blankets (because who DOESN’T bring at least three pillows and a blanket per person on a road trip??) was pretty exciting I must say, but we all made it alive! And of course, it was all worth it. It’s always worth it to be there for family during these precious once in a lifetime moments. Oh how I wish we all lived closer together!!
Dak and Emily, you two make such a wonderful team. Your little baby in this ADORABLE baby bump is so blessed! You deserve all the joy a baby brings and more. <3 Thank you for sharing the joy.
