This wedding was such a precious bright spot during the middle of such a cold winter! I was so happy when Steve reached out to me and asked if I would be available to capture his small wedding at The Mission in Gaastram MI where he works.
It was such a pleasure to capture a wedding during winter up here in the UP! It’s always fun when you have two people willing to go outside during those cold months as well! I was only with them for a couple of hours (if you can believe it! Look at all these pictures!), but they left a lasting impression. They’re two of the kindest people I’ve met and they care deeply about those close to them.
Steve’s bride Robin is from California and moved all the way here to the UP for Steve! If that’s not an amazing show of love, I don’t know what is! She handled the cold like a pro however, and her sweet little pup did its best to snuggle up to momma during these cold outdoor portraits!
Robin herself looked stunning in her wedding gown and fur wrap. I suggest every bride who considers doing a winter wedding go with a fur wrap! It was such a beautiful element to their pictures.
Steve and Robin, thank you so much for letting me capture this day for you. Our time together was short but I hope these images are able to remind you of how amazing this day was for a long time.
