Kacie + Brandon: Country Breeze Barn Wedding

Barn weddings in Wisconsin are always a special treat for me, so when Kacie and Brandon told me about their plans to get married at Peebles Country Breeze Barn I was extremely excited. I had never gotten to photograph at this particular barn, so I was looking forward to seeing what it was like.

What a sweet location! It definitely had that Wisconsin charm and provided the perfect backdrop for Kacie and Brandon’s ceremony.

I was able to photograph Kacie’s beautiful dress and the wedding rings near the little bridal suite the venue had set up. I also had a cute little barn cat for company who kept photo-bombing my ring pictures, so enjoy the bonus cat picture! It was taken after she was banished from the bridal suite. I called her pumpkin…and stinker-bum, because she seriously would not stop stepping into my frame during pictures…

The pretty kitty who seemed to love my camera almost as much as me…

Kacie and Brandon decided to share a first look before the ceremony which allowed me some extra time with just the two of them (yay!)

I usually have the bridesmaids and groomsmen ‘face off’ against one another to come up with a fun pose with the bride and groom…I think the girls won this one…

The ceremony was held inside the barn which was decorated with beautiful draped cloth and twinkle lights. After their ‘I dos’ and family pictures, it was off to the reception!

I usually don’t blog family photos, but this one was too cute not to share. Yay cute smiling nephews and niece!

The decorations at the reception were so beautiful! Table assignments were written on these beautiful antique windows and each table had beautiful wooden details and fresh queen Ann’s lace. There was also a popcorn bar…which the world needs more of in my opinion.

I was lucky enough to be able to steal the bride and groom away as the DJ got set up, so I took them out to a nearby field and was able to find some AMAZING light as the sun was just starting to go down. I obviously adore getting the couple all to myself, but this time was extra fun as I felt like Kacie and Brandon just flew through each ‘pose’ and were having almost as much fun as I was catching their smiles on camera in the few minutes we had outside.

After dinner, it was time for SPEECHES! Speeches are the only time I wish I was a videographer. It’s hard to capture all the love in the words that family and friends seem to find on wedding days.

After speeches the rest of the night was filled with music, fun, and exceptionally crazy dance moves. Again, it’s hard to capture the ‘epicness’ of the evening’s dancing with just a camera…but at least I got the most beautiful lift I have ever caught on camera…perfect way to celebrate such an amazing day.

Congratulations, Kacie and Brandon!  I hope you enjoy going through these moments and memories from your day and thank you again for letting me tag along for the ride.
