Andrew + Kelly: Wedding Celebration in Milwaukee, WI

When Andrew and Kelly reached out to me asking if I could capture their wedding celebration in Milwaukee, WI, I was thrilled. They told me about their possible plans to elope out to Washington for their ceremony, and then have a special event for all their friends and family back home. And I just loved the idea of getting to capture such a beautiful and personal event.

Of course, when COVID popped up, I was so thankful that Andrew and Kelly planned everything out like they did. How perfect is an elopement during COVID?? They were able to have a beautiful intimate ceremony with their families up in the mountains, and even though guidelines and policies were changing almost daily, they rolled with the punches and were still able to pull off this amazing wedding celebration event back home as well.

They put such care into every little detail. From the beautiful floral and dress choices, to the fun and exciting decision to have a New Orleans-style parade from their hotel to the reception (complete with a LIVE band), every part of the day just flowed into the next to provide a day full of amazing energy and excitement.

Andrews ring wins as being the most unique and beautiful men’s band I’ve ever shot…it’s from a METEORITE, people. LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.
Matching robes are my favorite. <3

This PARADE was the most fun I have EVER had photographing a wedding. Extra Crispy Brass Band did such an amazing job. So much build up and energy while heading over to the reception!
This venue was so unique and fun and perfectly set up for Andrew and Kelly’s celebration.
Extra Crispy Brass Band got to stick around and provide amazing music for the start of the party.
I loved that Andrew and Kelly had this antique typewriter that WORKED. Guests were able to type out notes to the Bride and Groom.
Polaroids coming back is my new favorite thing….let them stay forever.
These bottles were brewed and bottled by Andrew, and Kelly designed the labels herself! So much love and attention were put into these details.
You have to love it when your guests take the time to make sure your attire is COVID safe. 😉
Kelly’s own sister Leah surprised everyone by preforming a solo with the Extra Crispy Brass Band!
Shout out to this amazing talent! Her singing of Ben Folds Five’s ‘Luckiest’ reminded me why it’s one of my all time favorite songs. BEAUTIFUL!
Odin was so proud of mom and dad…
For the Star Wars fans….and the Baby Yoda fans.
