Kayle + Dylan Engagement

As the weather gets colder I feel more and more blessed to have such amazing clients down in Wisconsin.

When I got out of my car for Kayle and Dylan’s session, I was SO COLD. I could not believe that Kayle and Dylan didn’t even need jackets. Go Wisconsinites!

That being said, I had such an amazing time getting to photograph and get to know both Kayle and Dylan. We started outside of Birnamwood on a piece of BEAUTIFUL property that will be the site of Kayle and Dylan’s house next spring! I am beyond amazed that they are going to power through not only planning a wedding, but also planning and building an entire house! RESPECT.

I’m not surprised that they are taking on such an amazing project together however, as they have been together for nearly 8 years. They met in high school, started out teasing each other in study hall, and here they are, still in love and excited to finally get to say ‘I do’ to one another.

After enjoying the beautiful light their property provided, we were off on a mini road trip to Wittenberg where their sweet puppy Leo got to finally join in on some pictures.

Leo was such a playful dog! He was completely into it at first, but soon caught on to the fact that I was only using him for his cuteness and quickly refused to acknowledge my existence. Oh well. We tricked him into a few cute pictures in the end.

I’m so happy I got the chance to get a few pictures of just Kayle as well while Dylan was taking Leo back to the car. She just looked so stunning!

After Leo’s little photo session, we moved on to our third location. I’ve photographed here a couple of times as it’s where my mother-in-law lives at the moment. It’s a sweet little barn with a huge field and outbuildings and it provided some nice pictures as the sun had started to set.

Kayle and Dylan also took advantage of the fact that this is where Nueske stores a lot of their apple wood.  Yes, that beautiful pile of apple wood behind them will be used to smoke the amazingness that is Nueske bacon. Not a lot of couples get to brag about having that in their engagement pictures!

Kayle and Dylan, thank you SO much for letting me capture this phase of your relationship. You have so much excitement and adventure in store this next year and I can’t think of two better people to team up together to accomplish it all.

Congratulations!
