What a perfect way for to start the wedding season as a photographer!
This wedding was so beautiful and full of so many gorgeous details that made the photographer in me just shout for joy. Beautiful florals, amazing venue, and at the center of it all, two childhood sweethearts who fell in love and finally got to tie the knot.
Brittany and Alec have been friends since elementary school and started dating once they got into college and I have to say, my favorite thing about the day was just how obvious it was that these two were in love! I mean, just scroll down and check out Alec’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time!
So. Much. Love.
The day itself was also full of excitement. We had a ballroom dance competition happening down the hall which lead to a plethora of people in amazing costumes walking up and down the halls of the resort throughout the day. We had crazy weather to look out for. At one point we had a groomsmen sprinting across the lawn to get things started before the huge red blotch on the radar reached the venue. Nevertheless, we suffered just a few minutes of raindrops during the actual ceremony as it seemed the rain just couldn’t bear to ruin such a perfect day.
Congratulations, Brittany and Alec. Your love story is SO BEAUTIFUL and I am honored I got to be there to capture this small snippet of it.
