When I first heard the words ‘Wedding in the Wisconsin Dells’, I was excited. I don’t know if it was because I associate that place with summers of fun with friends and family, or the fact that I know the area is full of beautiful locations and scenery. Either way, I knew that Brandon and Caitlyn’s wedding was going to be AMAZING! So when COVID hit last year, and these two made the decision to hold off a year for their wedding, I was so happy that they kept all their original plans and were willing to still have me capture their special day.
The ceremony and reception were both held at The Swan Barn Door, which was beyond gorgeous! It is tucked away in a beautifully wooded area and the moment you step inside you feel as if you had been transported into a fairy tale. With root systems of trees streaming down from the ceilings like nature’s chandeliers, you couldn’t help but stop for a couple of minutes just to take it all in. If anyone reading this is planning on having a wedding in the Wisconsin Dells, I would highly recommend this venue!
We also got to sneak away just down the road to enjoy the beautiful sunset for golden hour portraits. I am always SO thankful for couples who trust me enough to literally kidnap them on their wedding day! Being able to chase that golden light is always worth the extra walk or drive, I promise! 🙂
Caitlyn and Brandon may have had to wait an ENTIRE extra year for their wedding due to COVID, but I am so glad they did. The day ended up being so beautiful and perfect and it just would not have bee the same without the face and presence of each and every person there.
Congratulations again, Brandon and Caitlyn! Enjoy the rest of your forever together!!
